Science

Science is a new skill introduced in Sims 3 University Life expansion (picture by Soge)

With the science research station you can for example practice
gene splicing experiments with seeds, horticulture experiments with fruits,
herb experiments or even clone a sim from a dna sample.

Experiments may either fail or succeed... Here I was trying an experiment
with a ladybird hoping to change it to a plasma bug but ended up loosing it.
It's somewhere in the lighted area I suppose...
It was never found I must add!

Science is cool! You can scan a lake, take a fish sample, clone your sample
and get fish having a zero fishing skill. Thanks to lake scanning I have tons of
death fish after a nightly visit from the cemetery...

This is supposed to be a crocodile...

You can even clone cheese, eggs and beef! One of the best parts is when you
analyze a normal quality cheese and clone the sample your clone will be perfect quality.

Some things are just too big to be cloned... A shame though.

You can only clone harvest plants with fruits you can plant as a seed
like tomatoes or grapes. This omniplant thing didn't work out...

Yeah I know you can't plant money bags and get money trees. Just wanted to try...
It would've been cool to be able to clone money

... But what you can do is to clone police officers!

I even managed to clone an alien. You need to have your science skills at least level 9
to be able to clone a sim.

Thank you!
