Starting a legacy in Sims 3

First I started a completely new game file and for some reason Sunset Valley
just felt the most natural town choice to start my Legacy in.
(You may also use an existing game file, but your Legacy family must immediately
become the “Active Household”)

Before creating my Legacy founder I needed to make some changes
in the town because Sunset Valley is so small and had originally no space
for Equestrian Center, Horse training centre or Big Show Venue and I really
might need those in my game later. Because the Big Show Venue needed a
6x5 lot but Llama Stadium can go to 5x5 lot so that's why I moved it in
Summer Hill Court. Didn't delete those familes originally living in the area but
deleted their homes and moved them into a different locations.

Sunset Valley didn't either have a Laundromat so I made one where the spa
used to be and got a perfect reason to create this Hidden Springs spa in my
town. It works like a normal spa and doesn't give my sims anything that the
old spa doesn't. I had in my saved community lot files parks with all the plants
you can have in Sims 3 in perfect quality but adding stuff like that in your town
is against the rules.

Changed my restaurant and supermarket into something a bit more modern too.

Town Hall you get from Monte Vista. Someone could call this tacky and I can see
their point but I love it...

And because because of the rules I needed a minimum 5x5 size lot for my family
I had to move that gothic family away and am going to move my legacy founder
into their old empty lot.

And then finally got to create my Legacy founder sim. I thought a farmer could be
a good and fairly basic start because it's a good way to earn money and gives the
younger generations perfect quality ingredients and it's easy to carry on from that.
Her child could be a chef or a fisher and then I could carry on to a Master Nectar
Craftsman or a Barkeeper. And from there maybe to scientific career, medical, law
and finally to real estate and political ones and so on.

The lot feels so big and empty at the beginning...

Well at least there's going to be a lot of room for my plants...

This was all I could afford. Remember that money codes and other cheats are
forbidden! I need to collect my first plants from the nature because they cost
so much in the shop... And I also need to save for ages before I can travel abroad
to get nectar plants, pomegranates, plums and so on. So annoying but so exciting
the same time!
